Take back control of the driver's window with the Standard Ignition Door Window Switch DS-1449, a front, front-left (driver's-side) switch that relays your command to the power window motor to raise and lower the glass. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 1995-1999 Chevrolet Cavalier, 2004-2005 Chevrolet Classic, 1997-2003 Chevrolet Malibu, 1997-1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass, and 1995 Pontiac Sunfire.
Signs this switch may need replacing include a window that won't respond, moves only intermittently, or reacts erratically when you press this control. Because the motor, regulator, or wiring can cause similar symptoms, diagnose the cause first; if a faulty switch is the culprit, DS-1449 replaces it.
