Standard Ignition Engine Coolant Reservoir P/N:CXT112
Standard Ignition CXT124 coolant reservoir for the 2006-2011 Audi A6 V6 3.2L and other vehicles holds extra coolant as the engine heats up and cools down. Also called a coolant tank, it is the expansion tank of the cooling system.
A coolant level that keeps dropping, cracks in the tank or coolant stains around it can point to a failing reservoir. These signs alone do not prove the reservoir is at fault, since a leaking hose can also leave coolant behind. Inspect the tank only with the engine cool.
This reservoir fits the 2006-2011 Audi A6 V6 3.2L and the 2005-2008 Audi A6 Quattro V6 3.2L. The 2006-2011 Audi A6 V6 3.2L takes one.
One coolant reservoir with its cap and the other necessary components. Gaskets, a retainer, a wiring harness and splice connectors are not included.

How can I tell if my coolant reservoir is cracked?
With the engine cool, look over the tank for cracks, seepage or dried coolant stains. If the source of a leak is unclear, a shop can pressure-test the cooling system.
Can I replace just the reservoir instead of the whole assembly?
Yes. This kit lets you replace only the damaged unit instead of the entire assembly, and it comes with the tank and cap.
