Description

Keep the radiator cooling fan cycling on at the right temperature with the Standard Ignition Engine Cooling Fan Switch (TS-379), a direct-fit replacement for the 1997-1999 Acura CL and 1998-2002 Honda Accord. This thermal switch senses coolant temperature and transfers the electrical signal to the fan controller, switching the cooling fan on so the engine holds its normal operating temperature.

Wax-actuated snap contact: custom wax formulations expand when heated to trigger a snap-action electrical contact and pass the signal to the fan controller.
Factory-calibrated: each thermal switch is calibrated and tested to confirm actuation at its specified lower-temperature set point.
Bimetallic contact arm: a formed bimetallic arm uses the different expansion rates of two fused metals for precise creep-action performance.
Ready to install: includes a 5.5 in (139.7 mm) wiring harness with a square female connector and two male blade terminals; bolt-on with a 5/8-18 thread. Mounting hardware and bracket are not included.
