Standard Ignition Engine Cooling Fan Switch P/N:TS-490
Standard Motor Products
Standard Ignition TS-505 cooling fan switch for the 1989 Peugeot 405 and other vehicles makes electrical contact at a set temperature to signal the fan controller. Also called an engine cooling fan switch, it works as a temperature-triggered contact in the fan circuit.
A fan that never starts, starts at the wrong time, or an engine that runs hot can mean this switch is wearing out. Low coolant, a blown fuse, a bad fan relay or a failed fan motor can be behind those signs too, so find the cause before you buy a switch.
This switch fits the 1989 Peugeot 405 and the 1980-1989 Peugeot 505, and each takes one.
