It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2019-2021 Volkswagen Golf, the 2019 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen, and the 2013-2021 Volkswagen Jetta. As part of the crankcase ventilation system, the separator captures oil droplets carried in blow-by gases, drains that oil back toward the crankcase, and passes the cleaner vapor along the intended ventilation path.
