Standard Ignition Engine Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Sprocket P/N:VVT717
Standard Motor Products
Standard Ignition VVT663 VVT sprocket for the 2011-2017 Hyundai Sonata 4-cylinder 2.0L or 2.4L and other vehicles is the exhaust-side sprocket in the variable valve timing system. You may also see it called an engine variable valve timing VVT sprocket.
A worn VVT sprocket can show up as a rough idle, a rattle from the timing area or weak drivability. If this sprocket is the cause, this part replaces it. Those signs can also come from other VVT parts, so first check the engine oil level with the engine off and cool, and leave running tests to a shop.
This is a direct-fit OE replacement. The cars it covers include the 2011-2017 Hyundai Sonata 4-cylinder 2.0L or 2.4L, the 2012-2016 Kia Sorento 4-cylinder 2.4L and the 2016 Sorento 4-cylinder 2.0L, and the 2011-2016 Kia Optima 4-cylinder 2.4L, the 2011-2018 Optima 4-cylinder 2.0L and the 2016 Optima 4-cylinder 1.6L. One sprocket goes on the exhaust side of each engine. If your car is not named here, open the "Vehicles it fits" section to check your exact model and engine.
