Standard Ignition Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve P/N:EGV428
Standard Motor Products
Standard Ignition EGV485 EGR valve for the 1995-1998 Nissan Maxima V6 3.0L and other vehicles sends exhaust gas back into the intake to help reduce NOx emissions.
A stuck or clogged EGR valve can show up as a rough idle, pinging under load or a check engine light, though a leaking vacuum hose or another fault may produce them too. Before replacing the valve, look over it and its vacuum hose with the engine off and cool for cracks, loose connections or heavy carbon buildup. The engine takes a single valve.
This EGR valve is a direct-fit replacement for the 1995-1998 Nissan Maxima V6 3.0L and the 1996-1998 Infiniti I30 V6 3.0L.
