Standard Ignition Fuel Level Sensor P/N:LSF100
Standard Ignition LSF116 fuel level sensor for the 2005-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 V6 4.3L, V8 4.8L, 5.3L or 6.0L and other vehicles reports the fuel level in the tank to the gauge.
A fuel gauge that sticks, jumps or reads empty with fuel in the tank can mean the sensor is worn or failing. Gauge and wiring faults can look the same, so with the engine off, look for a blown gauge fuse first and leave any test of the sender circuit to a shop. This listing is one sensor, and each vehicle takes one.
The 2005-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 V6 4.3L, V8 4.8L, 5.3L or 6.0L, the 2004-2006 GMC Sierra 1500 V6 4.3L, V8 4.8L, 5.3L or 6.0L and the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Classic V8 6.0L or 8.1L all take this direct-fit OE replacement, and so do other trucks. Driving a different truck? Look it up in the "Vehicles it fits" section.
