Standard Ignition Fuel Pressure Sensor,Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor P/N:AS500
Standard Motor Products
Standard Ignition AS244 fuel tank pressure sensor for the 1996-2000 Acura RL and other vehicles reads fuel vapor pressure and passes the signal to the engine computer.
A check engine light with an evaporative emission code can mean the sensor has failed. A loose gas cap, a leaking vapor line or a faulty purge valve can be behind the same warning, so find the cause before buying a sensor. If the sensor is the cause, this one replaces it.
This sensor fits the 1996-2000 Acura RL and the 1997-1998 Acura TL.

Build and materials
One fuel tank pressure sensor with its mounting bracket. This listing is one sensor, and both cars take one. A wiring harness, mounting hardware and O-rings are not included, so plan on new hardware and O-rings because the old ones may not be reusable.
