Standard Ignition HVAC Blower Motor Resistor P/N:RU-792
Designed to restore variable speed control to your heater and A/C blower, the Standard Ignition RU-79 is a direct-fit 1990-1993 Honda Accord blower motor resistor. See the Buyer's Guide tab for application details.
A blower motor resistor lowers the voltage reaching the blower motor, which gives the fan its slower settings. Signs this part may need replacing include a blower that runs only on its highest setting, or one or more fan speeds that no longer respond. Other faults can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the cause before replacing any part.
If testing shows that a failed blower resistor on a 1990-1993 Honda Accord is the cause, the RU-79 replaces it with an HVAC blower motor resistor built for that model.

This part cross-references / interchanges with the following part numbers:
What does a blower motor resistor do?
It lowers the voltage reaching the blower motor so the fan can run at its lower speed settings. This gives you variable fan speed for the heater and A/C.
Will the RU-79 fit my car?
The RU-79 is listed for the 1990-1993 Honda Accord. See the Buyer's Guide tab for full application details.
When does a blower motor resistor need replacing?
Signs include a blower that runs only on high, or fan speeds that stop working. Other faults can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the cause before replacing.
Why does Standard use copper connectors on this resistor?
Standard uses premium copper electrical connectors for more precise resistance values. It says this improves resistor performance and offers a longer part life.
What part numbers does the RU-79 interchange with?
It interchanges with RU829, BMRB10304, BR41, 1468106262 and 79330SM4003.
