Standard Ignition Ignition Coil P/N:UF-102
Standard Motor Products
Standard Ignition UF-291 ignition coil for the 1994-1995 BMW 318i 4-cylinder 1.8L, the 1996-1999 318i 4-cylinder 1.9L and other vehicles turns battery voltage into the high-voltage spark that fires the plug. This distributorless Standard Ignition coil is intended to replace a coil that has worn out.
A failing coil can mean a misfire, hard starting or a check engine light, but those signs also come from other ignition parts. With the engine off, look over the coil body and connector for cracks, burn marks or corrosion on the pins; if they look clean, have the misfire diagnosed before you buy a coil.
It also fits the 1994-1995 BMW 318is 4-cylinder 1.8L, the 1996-1999 318is 4-cylinder 1.9L, the 1995 BMW 318ti 4-cylinder 1.8L and the 1996-1999 318ti 4-cylinder 1.9L. Each of these is a direct-fit OE replacement.
