This coil-on-plug unit steps battery voltage up to the high voltage that fires the spark plug it mounts on, and it drops in as a direct-fit replacement across the listed 2018-2026 Ford and Lincoln applications — the Ford Bronco, Edge, Explorer, F-150 and Police Interceptor Utility, plus the Lincoln Aviator and Nautilus. If a failed coil is the cause of a misfire, rough idle, hesitation or an illuminated check engine light, this replaces it; diagnose the cause before replacing.
