Standard Ignition Ignition Switch P/N:US-1203
Standard Motor Products
Standard Ignition US-782 switch for the 2001-2004 BMW 530i and other vehicles opens and closes the ignition and starter circuits when the key is turned. This Standard Ignition switch mounts at the column as an ignition starter switch.
A no-crank when you turn the key, or dash lights that flicker as the key moves, can mean the switch contacts are worn. A weak battery or a starter fault can sit behind those signs too, so track down the cause before swapping the switch.
This is an OE-replacement part engineered for BMW vehicles; besides the 2001-2004 BMW 530i, it fits the 2004 BMW 545i and the 2000-2003 BMW M5.
