Standard Ignition PCV Valve P/N:V498
Standard Motor Products
Standard Ignition V494 PCV valve for the 1999-2002 Chevrolet Camaro V8 5.7L and other vehicles meters the flow of crankcase air to the intake manifold.
Rough idle, oil leaks or oil consumption can mean the PCV valve is worn, though a clogged hose or a leaking intake gasket can be behind the same signs, so find the cause before you replace the valve.
This valve is a direct-fit replacement for damaged OE units on the 1999-2002 Chevrolet Camaro V8 5.7L, the 1999-2003 Chevrolet Corvette V8 5.7L and the 1999-2002 Pontiac Firebird V8 5.7L. The V8 5.7L takes a single PCV valve.
