Help your engine vent crankcase gases the way the factory intended with the Standard Ignition V602, a Chevy Equinox PCV valve built as a direct-fit OE replacement for the 2018-2019 Chevrolet Equinox and 2018-2019 GMC Terrain with the L4-1.5L engine. It is cataloged for the right-side position, and the listed applications use one valve each.
A positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve meters the flow of crankcase gases into the intake manifold, where they are drawn back into the engine. Standard designs the V602 to match the original part's fit, form, and function for precise air flow from the crankcase to the intake manifold.
- OE-matching flow control: A spring-loaded valve and sliding pintle are designed to match OE air-flow adjustment.
- Oil- and heat-resistant construction: Made of black plastic. Standard describes this high-grade industrial material as resistant to oil and extreme engine operating temperatures.
- Connection details: The valve has two hose connectors with an angled nipple and takes a 9/16 in (14 mm) hose. The inlet diameter is 1.03 in (26.162 mm) and the outlet diameter is 0.55 in (13.97 mm).
- Quality control: Standard is a global manufacturer and keeps quality control in place at every stage of production.
Signs a PCV valve may need replacing: a rough or unstable idle, oil seeping past seals or gaskets, higher oil consumption, or a whistling or hissing sound from the engine bay. Other faults can cause these symptoms, so diagnose the cause before you replace the valve.
A gasket, cap, and mounting bracket are not included. Country of origin: United States.
