Standard Ignition PCV Valve P/N:V641

Manage crankcase pressure and route blow-by vapors back into the intake for reburning with the Standard Ignition PCV Valve V641. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2023-2025 Dodge Hornet, 2019-2023 Jeep Cherokee, 2023 Jeep Compass, 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and 2018-2025 Jeep Wrangler.

• Positive crankcase ventilation: meters blow-by gases out of the crankcase and into the intake manifold to be burned in the combustion process.
• One-way check valve: uses intake manifold vacuum to draw vapors while restricting reverse flow back toward the crankcase.
• Pressure control: helps maintain proper crankcase pressure and reduces the oil-vapor and moisture buildup that leads to sludge.

Over time a PCV valve can stick or clog. Common signs that this part may be the cause include rough or unstable idle, oil seepage at gaskets and seals, increased oil consumption, or a whistling noise from a restricted valve. If a failed PCV valve is the cause of those symptoms, this replaces it — diagnose the underlying condition first, since these signs can have other causes.
