A power seat memory switch holds the buttons you use to set and recall preset seat positions. It sends your request to the vehicle's memory seat system. Signs this part may need replacing include memory buttons that don't respond, seat positions that won't save or recall, and operation that works only some of the time. Wiring faults, control modules and seat motors can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the cause before ordering.
