Standard Ignition Vapor Canister P/N:CP3616
Help keep fuel vapors captured and your evaporative emission system working the way it was designed with the Standard Ignition CP3080, an Acura MDX vapor canister built as a direct-fit OE replacement for the 2001-2002 Acura MDX and the 2003-2004 Honda Pilot. The vapor canister collects and stores fuel vapor from the tank until it can be purged into the engine and burned, instead of venting to the atmosphere.
Signs this part may need replacing: a check engine light with EVAP-related codes, a noticeable fuel odor, trouble filling the tank, or a cracked or damaged canister housing. These symptoms can also come from other EVAP components, so diagnose the cause before replacing. If a failed vapor canister is the cause, the CP3080 replaces it.
Fitment: 2001-2002 Acura MDX; 2003-2004 Honda Pilot. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine details.
