Standard Ignition Vapor Canister P/N:CP3737
Standard Ignition CP429 vapor canister for the 2005-2006 Scion xA 4-cylinder 1.5L and other vehicles stores fuel vapor from the tank for the evaporative emission system. The vapors stay in the canister until the engine draws them in to burn.
A fuel odor or an evaporative emission warning light can mean the canister is failing. Before replacing it, look over the canister, its ports and the connector with the engine off and cool for cracks or damage.
It is a vapor canister for the 2005-2006 Scion xB 4-cylinder 1.5L and also fits the 2005-2006 Scion xA 4-cylinder 1.5L, so each car takes a single canister. It is a direct-fit OE replacement, engineered for higher-mileage Scion vehicles.
