The wiper switch is the driver-operated control that switches the windshield wiper circuit on and off. Standard Ignition describes itself as a global manufacturer of original equipment ignition products. It maintains complete quality control across the whole manufacturing process, from componentry to the finished product.
- Copper alloy conductors: designed for strong electrical conductivity with low resistive losses.

- Robust build: a sturdy design and high-grade materials made to meet the demands of today's service professionals.
- Technician-focused engineering: backed by decades of research and development aimed at what technicians need.
Signs this part may need replacing include wipers that don't respond when the switch is moved, wipers that work only intermittently, and wipers that won't shut off. A wiper motor, wiring fault or blown fuse can cause the same symptoms, so diagnose the cause first. If a failed switch is the problem, the DS-819 replaces it.
