Standard Import Ignition Knock (Detonation) Sensor P/N:KS351
Standard Ignition KS166 sensor for the 2001-2003 Toyota Prius 4-cylinder 1.5L and other vehicles detects engine knock and sends a voltage signal. This knock sensor gives the engine computer a signal to act on when detonation starts.
A failing sensor can show up as a lit check engine light or engine pinging under load. Those signs alone do not prove the sensor is at fault, since a damaged wiring connector can set the same light.
Along with the Prius, it fits the 2000-2005 Toyota Echo 4-cylinder 1.5L and the 2004-2005 Scion xA 4-cylinder 1.5L. If your car is not named here, look up its year and engine in the "Vehicles it fits" section.
