Help tighten up sloppy, wandering steering with the Mevotech Supreme Steering Center Link MDS300010, a direct-fit front-steering replacement for GM full-size trucks and SUVs. It drops into the parallelogram steering linkage on many vehicles, among them the 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 1999-2007 GMC Sierra 1500 and 2000-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.
The center link is the central bar of the front steering linkage, tying the pitman arm and idler arm together so the tie rods can steer both front wheels in unison.
- Corrosion-resistant surface treatment: helps prevent rust build-up for longer service life.
- Front steering linkage: a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications.
If worn play in the original center link is the cause of loose, wandering steering, excess free play, or uneven front tire wear, replacing it is intended to restore a solid connection through the linkage. Diagnose the cause before ordering, since these symptoms can also come from other steering or suspension parts.
