Mevotech Supreme Steering Center Link P/N:MS40900
Help keep your front steering linkage tight and responsive with the Mevotech Supreme Center Link, part number MDS1047. It fits many vehicles, among them the 1989-2005 Chevrolet Blazer, 1982-2004 Chevrolet S10 and 1992-2004 GMC Jimmy, and serves as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.
The steering center link is the cross bar in the front steering linkage. It carries motion from the steering gear's pitman arm across to the idler arm and the tie rods so both front wheels turn together. Mevotech's Supreme version adds easy servicing and corrosion protection.
A center link may need replacing if you notice excess play or looseness in the steering wheel, wandering on the road, clunking from the front steering linkage, or uneven front tire wear. Other steering and suspension parts can cause the same symptoms, so inspect the whole linkage before replacing it. Have the wheel alignment checked after installation.
