Keep brake pressure flowing to the rear of your truck or SUV with the Sunsong brake hydraulic hose, part number 2202749, a rear center hose. The flexible hose carries brake fluid under pressure while allowing for suspension movement. It is a direct-fit application for many vehicles, among them the 2007-2012 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2007-2014 GMC Yukon and 2007-2014 Chevrolet Suburban 1500. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list of vehicles and engine details.
Sunsong is a vertically integrated manufacturer that researches, develops and builds automotive fluid transfer hoses and lines. This Sunsong brake hose is designed to deliver exact form, fit and function.
- Standards: Meets or exceeds DOT, Federal Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS 106) and SAE J1401 standards.
- Installation components: Precision engineered to exact fit. Brackets, grommets, molded plastic guards, wire clips and protective sleeves are included as the application requires, which helps return wearable parts to original condition.
- Corrosion protection: Where tubing is used, it is made from high-grade steel and electroplated with a zinc coating. The coating resists corrosion and rust from high humidity, road salt, water and grime.
- Pressure tested: Each hose goes through a high-pressure quality assurance test before it leaves the factory.
Signs a brake hose may need replacing include cracking, bulging, chafing or fluid leaking at the hose, or a soft or spongy brake pedal. Diagnose the cause before replacing parts.
