Keep hydraulic pressure reaching the rear left brake with the Sunsong brake hydraulic hose, part number 2202920. It is a direct-fit replacement for the rear left position on many vehicles, among them the 2002-2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer, 2003-2006 Chevrolet SSR and 2002-2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list and engine details.
A brake hose is the flexible link in the brake circuit. It carries brake fluid between the rigid brake lines and the parts that move with the suspension. Sunsong is a vertically integrated maker of automotive fluid transfer hoses and lines, and it builds each hose to deliver exact form, fit and function.
- Precision engineered: Each hose is built to exact fit. Brackets, grommets, molded plastic guards, wire clips and protective sleeves are included as the application requires, to help return wearable parts to original condition.
- Standards compliance: Meets or exceeds DOT, FMVSS 106 and SAE J1401 standards.
- Corrosion-resistant tubing: Where the hose uses tubing, it is high-grade steel electroplated with a zinc coating. The coating resists corrosion and rust from humidity, road salt, water and grime.
- Pressure tested: Every hose goes through a high-pressure quality-assurance test before it leaves the factory. Versions with banjo end fittings include new copper washers for proper sealing.
Signs a brake hose may need replacing include a soft or spongy pedal, fluid seeping at the hose or its fittings, and a hose that is cracked, bulging or chafed. Other brake problems can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the cause first. If the original rear left hose has failed, this Sunsong brake hose replaces it.
