Replace a worn or leaking rear line with the Sunsong brake hose 2203288, a Brake Hydraulic Hose cataloged for the rear left outer position. It is a direct-fit replacement for many vehicles, among them the 2000-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2000-2006 GMC Yukon and 2002-2006 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500; see the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list.
A brake hose is the flexible link that carries hydraulic brake fluid between the rigid brake lines and the brake at the wheel, flexing as the suspension moves. Sunsong is a vertically integrated maker of automotive fluid transfer hoses and lines, and it designs this Sunsong brake hydraulic hose for exact form, fit and function.
Signs this part may need replacing: a soft or spongy brake pedal, fluid seeping at the hose or its fittings, or a cracked, swollen or chafed hose. After installation, bleed the brake system as described in the vehicle's service information.
