Keep pressurized brake fluid moving to the rear brakes with the Sunsong brake hose 2205395. This rear brake hydraulic hose is a direct-fit replacement for the 2011-2017 Honda Odyssey, designed to match the original's form, fit and function. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for complete application details.
A brake hydraulic hose is the flexible link between the vehicle's rigid brake line and the brake at the wheel. It carries fluid pressure to the brake while allowing the suspension to move. Sunsong is a vertically integrated maker of automotive fluid transfer hoses and lines, and it develops its products around what installers need.
- Standards: Meets or exceeds DOT, FMVSS 106 and SAE J1401 standards.
- Hardware as required: Comes with brackets, grommets, molded plastic guards, wire clips and protective sleeves where the application calls for them, helping return wearable parts to original condition. Hoses with banjo end fittings include new copper washers for proper sealing.
- Corrosion protection: Where the assembly uses tubing, that tubing is made from high-grade steel and electroplated with zinc. This helps it resist corrosion and rust from high humidity, road salt, water and grime.
- Pressure tested: Each hose undergoes a high-pressure quality assurance test before it leaves the factory.
Signs that a brake hose may need replacing include a soft or spongy pedal, fluid seeping at the hose or its fittings, and cracking, bulging or chafing on the hose. If a worn hose is the cause, this part replaces it. Bleed the brake system after installation according to the vehicle service information.
