Keep brake fluid moving to the rear right wheel with the Sunsong brake hose, part number 2207176A. This flexible hydraulic line carries brake fluid under pressure while flexing with suspension movement. It is a direct-fit replacement for the rear right position on the 2013 RAM 1500. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine-level details.
Sunsong is a vertically integrated manufacturer that researches, develops and builds automotive fluid transfer hoses and lines. It aims to exceed industry quality standards and states its parts deliver exact form, fit and function.
- Precision-engineered fit: Each hose is engineered to exact fit. Brackets, grommets, molded plastic guards, wire clips and protective sleeves are included as the application requires, intended to return the wearable parts to original condition.
- Standards: Meets or exceeds DOT, Federal Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS 106) and SAE J1401 standards.
- Zinc-plated steel tubing: The tubing is made from high-grade steel and electroplated with zinc for corrosion and rust resistance against high humidity, road salt, water and grime.
- Pressure tested: Every hose goes through a high-pressure quality assurance test before it leaves the factory.
- Copper washers: Hoses with banjo end fittings include new copper washers for proper sealing.
Signs a brake hose may need replacing include cracks, bulging or fluid seepage at the hose, or a soft, spongy brake pedal. If a worn rear right hose is the cause, this Sunsong brake hydraulic hose replaces it. Inspect the brake system to confirm the cause first, and bleed the brakes after installation according to the vehicle service information.
