Description

Restore firm, leak-free power steering with the Sunsong Power Steering Pressure Line Hose Assembly (MPN 3401399). This pressure line carries pressurized hydraulic fluid from the power steering pump to the steering gear, and it drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2001-2007 Ford Taurus and 2001-2005 Mercury Sable — see the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine-level fitment. Sunsong is a vertically integrated manufacturer focused on automotive fluid-transfer hoses and lines, engineering products to deliver exact form, fit, and function.

Pre-assembled with brackets: the pressure and return hoses arrive ready to install, cutting labor time compared with replacements sold as individual hoses.
Precision-engineered to exact fit: includes the additional components needed to restore the wearable parts to original condition.
Exceeds OE performance standards: rated to a max working pressure of 1,500 psi, a burst pressure of 8,700 psi, and a tensile strength of 1,600 lb for exceptional durability and long life.
Factory-tested: every pressure hose passes a high-pressure quality-assurance test before leaving the factory for trouble-free installation and operation.

Signs this line may need replacing include fluid seepage at the fittings, cracked or bulging hose, or a low reservoir. Diagnose the source of any leak before replacing.
