Keep the front suspension tight and control arm connected with the Mevotech Supreme MK7241 front lower suspension ball joint — a direct-fit 1997-1999 Dodge Dakota ball joint that also fits the 1998-1999 Dodge Durango. It pivots the steering knuckle against the lower control arm, and worn signs like clunking over the front end, uneven tire wear, or loose, wandering steering are cues this joint may need replacing.
Sintered bearings: built for longer-lasting performance under high-usage commercial, fleet, SUV, and working-truck duty.
Grease fitting included: a 180-degree SAE grease fitting makes servicing simple.
Install hardware provided: secures to the vehicle with the part-specific castle nut and cotter pin — Mevotech's Labor Saver design for faster installs.
Corrosion resistance: a protective surface treatment helps resist rust build-up.
Engineered in-house with application-specific upgrades and backed by extensive in-house and third-party durability testing. It also serves as a 1998-1999 Dodge Durango ball joint replacement. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for full engine coverage.
