Signs a lower ball joint may need replacing include clunking or knocking over bumps, loose or wandering steering, uneven tire wear and visible play at the joint. If a worn ball joint is the cause, this front left lower unit replaces it. Inspect the opposite side and the rest of the front suspension at the same time, and have the alignment checked after installation.
