This front lower ball joint is a direct-fit replacement for a wide range of classic trucks, SUVs and vans, including the 1969-1991 Chevrolet Blazer, 1971-1996 Ford Bronco, 1976-1996 Ford F-150, 1974-1996 Ford F-250, 1994-1999 Dodge Ram 1500, 1974-1993 Dodge Ramcharger and 1972-1983 Jeep CJ5 — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list of 81 applications and engine details.

As the pivoting link between the lower control arm and the steering knuckle, the ball joint lets the wheel steer and the suspension travel while holding everything in alignment. Worn ball joints can bring on clunking, wandering steering, vibration or uneven tire wear — signs this part may need replacing.
