Mevotech TTX Suspension Ball Joint P/N:TXMS50569

Replace a worn front steering pivot with the Mevotech TTX suspension ball joint, part number TXMS50569. This front upper ball joint lets the steering knuckle turn and move with the suspension. It is a direct-fit replacement for many vehicles, among them the 1976-1979 Ford F-150, 1974-1979 Ford F-250 and 1974-1983 Jeep Cherokee. • Easier installation: A custom-designed adapter ring speeds installation. The joint press fits into the larger flange diameter and secures with the part-specific slotted castle nut and easy-snap cotter pin provided.
• Serviceable: A 180-degree SAE grease fitting is included for routine lubrication.
• Secure connections: Pre-applied Nylok thread adhesive helps keep fasteners secure and resistant to vibration. Knurling gives a snugger fit between connecting points to help avoid distortion and corrosion.

Signs a ball joint may need replacing include clunking or knocking over bumps, loose or wandering steering, uneven tire wear and noticeable play at the joint. If a worn front upper ball joint is the cause, this assembly replaces it.
