Dorman - OE Solutions Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly P/N:522-878
Dorman 522-470 front right upper control arm with ball joint for the 2003-2007 Cadillac CTS links the steering knuckle to the frame. Its ball joint lets the wheel pivot as the suspension moves and steers. This Dorman control arm was tested for ride smoothness, directional stability and predictable dynamics, and it is sold as one assembly with the ball joint.
A clunk over bumps, wandering steering or uneven front tire wear can mean the control arm and ball joint assembly is worn, but tie rods, struts and other suspension parts can cause similar signs. Before ordering, look the arm over with the engine off for cracked or torn bushings and rust or damage at the ball joint.
It is a direct replacement for the original equipment on the 2003-2007 Cadillac CTS.
