TERREPOWER formerly BBB Industries Power Steering Pump P/N:990-1092
TERREPOWER 990-0470 power steering pump for the 1997-1999 Subaru Legacy and other vehicles is a remanufactured hydraulic pump that builds fluid pressure to assist steering.
Whining or groaning when you turn the wheel, heavier steering and fluid seeping around the pump can mean the pump is worn, though a power steering hose or the drive belt can also be behind them.
It is a power steering pump for the 1997-1998 Subaru Impreza as well as the 1997-1999 Subaru Legacy, and both cars take a single pump.
