- Aluminum housing: The pump body is made of aluminum.
- Remote-reservoir design: Built to work with a remote reservoir. The reservoir cap, filter and sensor are not included.
- Fluid connections: The M16X1.50 outlet (16 mm) uses a banjo-bolt attachment. The single pipe-style inlet measures 0.649 in.
- Mounting and drive: Three mounting holes and a splined pulley attachment. The pulley is not included, so transfer or replace it as the vehicle service procedure directs.
A failing power steering pump can show up as whining when turning, heavy or uneven steering effort, or fluid seepage at the pump. If the pump is the cause, this new unit replaces it. Diagnose the system first, because fluid level, hoses or the steering gear can cause similar symptoms.
