TERREPOWER formerly BBB Industries Power Steering Pump P/N:N990-0444
TERREPOWER N990-0744 power steering pump for the 1998-2001 Infiniti Q45 is new and builds the fluid pressure behind steering assist. Driven by the engine through a pulley, it sends fluid to the steering gear so turning the wheel takes less effort.
A whining or groaning noise when you turn, steering that feels heavy, or fluid weeping around the pump can mean the pump is wearing out. These signs alone do not prove the pump is the problem, since a leaking hose can cause some of them too.
This pump is a direct-fit replacement for the 1998-2001 Infiniti Q45.
