TERREPOWER formerly BBB Industries Starter P/N:N6782
Designed to crank your engine dependably, the TERREPOWER (formerly BBB Industries) Starter N17242 is a new starter motor built for reliability throughout the vehicle's service life. It fits many Subaru models, among them the 2000-2004 Subaru Outback 2.5L / 3.0L, 1990-2004 Subaru Legacy 2.2L / 2.5L and 1981-1987 Subaru Standard 1.6L / 1.8L.
When you turn the key, the starter engages its drive gear with the flywheel or flexplate and spins the engine until it fires. Signs a starter may need replacing include a click with no crank, slow cranking, grinding on engagement or an intermittent no-start. If a failed unit is the cause, this starter replaces it. Each listed application uses one starter.
See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list of fitting vehicles and engines.
