Description

Restore reliable high-voltage insulation between the ignition coil and spark plug with the ThunderCore PRO Coil Boot 900-P2012. This OE-replacement boot drops in for the 1996-1999 Infiniti I30 and 1995-1999 Nissan Maxima, serving as the insulative path in coil-on-plug (COP) and coil-near-plug (CNP) ignition systems.

In service, the coil boot forms the insulative connection between the coil and the plug and helps maintain secure coil-to-plug contact. Heat, vibration, and chemical exposure can degrade a boot over time, which may lead to arc-through, misfires, or hard starting.
