Seal the rear of your manual transmission and keep gear lubricant where it belongs with the Timken Manual Trans Output Shaft Seal 1215N. It installs at the rear output shaft position, where the stationary seal body seats in the housing bore while its lip rides against the rotating output shaft to retain lubricant and block contaminants. This is a direct-fit replacement for a wide range of Mazda applications, including the 1979-1984 and 1986-1987 B2000, the 1979-1991 and 1993-1995 RX-7, the 1979-1982 626, and the 1977-1983 GLC — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.

  • Precision sealing design: built to prevent lubricant escape and stop harmful contaminants from entering.
  • Reinforced outer case: helps prevent installation damage and adds durability.
  • Ribbed rubber inner diameter: designed to seal minor shaft imperfections and promote positive seating.
  • Vent holes: allow lubricant to flow freely around the seal lip, cooling the seal components and removing heat build-up.

Made from N-Polyacrylate with a CCW (counter-clockwise) helix. Measures 35.00 mm (1.378 in) shaft diameter, 48.00 mm (1.890 in) housing bore, 48.13 mm (1.895 in) outside diameter, and 13.00 mm (0.512 in) width.
