TrakMotive CV Axle Shaft P/N:VO-86001
TrakMotive BM-86001 front right CV axle shaft for the 2010-2017 BMW 550i GT xDrive and other vehicles carries drive torque to the wheel. This TrakMotive CV axle shaft has a joint at each end that flexes with suspension travel while the shaft keeps turning the wheel.
A clicking noise on turns, vibration under acceleration or a torn boot with grease thrown around can mean a worn CV joint. With the engine off, look the boots over for tears first, since a wheel bearing or another suspension part can sound much the same, and find the cause before you replace the shaft.
A wide range of BMW xDrive models take this shaft, led by the 2010-2017 BMW 550i GT xDrive, the 2010-2015 BMW 750i xDrive and the 2010-2015 BMW 750Li xDrive. If your BMW is not named here, look it up in the "Vehicles it fits" section. On the 2010-2015 BMW 750i xDrive this side takes one shaft; the front left is a separate part and is normally replaced at the same time.
