TrakMotive CV Axle Shaft P/N:NI-8240
TrakMotive GM-8240 front CV axle shaft for the 2006-2010 Hummer H3 and other vehicles carries drive torque to the front wheel. It lets the wheel keep receiving power as the suspension moves and the wheel steers.
Vibration when you accelerate, or a torn boot with grease thrown around it, can be signs of a worn axle shaft. Clicking on turns can have other driveline causes too, so before replacing the shaft, look with the engine off for torn boots or flung grease where you can see them without lifting the car; a shop can inspect the rest.
It fits the 2006-2010 Hummer H3 and the 2009-2010 Hummer H3T.
