Description

Keep power flowing from the transaxle to the front wheel with the TrakMotive CV Axle Shaft (HO-86040). This premium-grade front left axle is a direct-fit replacement for the 2019-2022 Acura RDX [All], transmitting torque to the wheel while letting the suspension travel and the wheel steer.

Matched CV joints: male inboard joint with 31 inboard splines and a conventional outboard joint with 30 outboard splines.
Thermoplastic boots: inboard and outboard joint boots are thermoplastic, helping hold grease in and keep contaminants out.
Axle nut included: ships with a stake-type axle nut (M26x1.5 thread, 35 mm hex).
Length: overall compressed length 25.625 in (651 mm), extended length 28 in (712 mm).

This unit does not include an ABS tone ring. Clicking on turns, vibration under acceleration, or grease flung from a torn boot are signs the original CV axle may need replacing; if a failed axle is the cause, this replaces it.
