TrakMotive CV Axle Shaft P/N:MI-8199
TrakMotive MI-8103 front left CV axle shaft for the 1997-2004 Mitsubishi Montero Sport and other vehicles carries drive torque to the front left wheel. Its joints let the wheel keep receiving power as it steers and the suspension moves.
Grease thrown around a torn boot, a clicking noise on turns or vibration under acceleration can mean an axle shaft is wearing out. Before you replace the axle, rule out a worn wheel bearing or a tire problem, since either can give similar noise or vibration.
It fits the 1997-2004 Mitsubishi Montero Sport, the 1992-2000 Mitsubishi Montero and the 1992-1994 Mitsubishi Mighty Max. This listing is one axle shaft for the front left; the front right is a separate part, and both sides are normally replaced together.
