Dorman - OE Solutions Transfer Case Motor P/N:600-924
Dorman 600-803 transfer case motor for the 1995-2001 Ford Explorer and other vehicles shifts the transfer case between high and low ranges. If a seized motor is why the case stopped shifting, this motor replaces it.
A transfer case that will not shift between high and low range can mean the shift motor has failed. Damage to the connector or wiring can also stop the shift, and the motor sits underneath the vehicle, so a shop can inspect those and test the shift system before the motor is replaced.
This transfer case motor is a direct-fit replacement for the 1995-2001 Ford Explorer and the 2000-2001 Mercury Mountaineer, and each takes one.
