A transmission filter is intended to capture contaminants in the fluid so that cleaner fluid circulates to the transmission's internal components. A filter may need replacing if it has reached its service interval, if the fluid is contaminated, or if a filter restriction is contributing to shifting concerns. Diagnose the cause before you replace parts.

This part is listed under both the hydraulic filter and transmission filter kit names. It carries a heavy-duty (HD) rating, and the listed applications use one filter. Country of origin: United States.
