Description

Designed for consistent, quiet braking at the rear axle, this ADVICS brake pad set, part number AD1679, uses Ultra-Premium ceramic friction material for smooth, low-dust stops. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2014-2018 Mazda 3, 2014-2018 Mazda 3 Sport and 2014-2015 Mazda 6, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. ADVICS developed and tested these pads against OEM specifications. The approved ceramic friction material is integrally molded to a fine blank steel backing plate.

Ceramic friction material: designed for quiet, smooth, low-dust operation and formulated for longer pad and rotor life.
Multi-layer shims: black multi-layer pad shims built to OE-level specifications to help keep noise and vibration low.
Slotted and chamfered: OEM-mirrored slots and chamfered edges help reduce noise, vibration and harshness (NVH).
Hardware and wear indicator: mounting hardware and abutment clips are included, and a mechanical wear indicator is attached.
