Dorman - OE Solutions Vapor Canister Purge Valve P/N:994-215
Dorman 994-047 vapor canister purge valve for the 2005-2006 Honda CR-V 4-cylinder 2.4L and other vehicles controls fuel vapor flow to the engine. It is a purge solenoid valve in the evaporative emissions system.
A failing purge valve can show up as a rough idle, a check engine light with an evap code, or hard starting after refueling. Before you replace the valve, rule out a loose fuel cap, a cracked vapor hose and damaged wiring at the connector, since each can set an evap code of its own.
This valve is a direct-fit replacement for the 2005-2006 Honda CR-V 4-cylinder 2.4L. The 2005-2006 Acura RSX 4-cylinder 2.0L takes it as well, one valve per car. Testing also covered proper fit.
