Wagner Brake ZD1978 front brake pad for the 2017-2020 Ford Escape and other vehicles is a ceramic QuickStop set that presses against the front rotors to slow the wheels. It is also sold as a Wagner Brake disc brake pad set.
A grinding or squealing noise, a longer stopping distance or a car that pulls to one side under braking can mean the pads are worn. Before you replace them, rule out a sticking caliper or a damaged rotor, since either can also make a car pull or shudder.
