Walker Products Mass Air Flow Sensor P/N:245-1269
Walker Products 245-1019 mass air flow sensor for the 1996-1997 Ford Probe 4-cylinder 2.0L and other vehicles measures the air entering the engine. The ECU uses that reading to set the air-fuel mix.
A failing mass air flow sensor can show up as a rough idle, hesitation or a check engine light, though those signs can also come from other causes. With the engine off, look the air tube and connector over for cracks, loose clamps or oil before you replace the sensor. If the sensor is the cause, this assembly replaces it.
The same sensor is a direct-fit replacement for the 1996-1997 Mazda 626 4-cylinder 2.0L and the 1996-1997 Mazda MX-6 4-cylinder 2.0L.
